Hi!

My name is Phillip Stark and I’m an American expatriate living in Madrid, Spain. I originally came here on a study abroad program 8 years ago and liked it so much I decided to stay.  Over the years, I have been studying and working in video production, content creation, sales, and marketing. Oh – and I also sing in a  punk rock band here called Crack In Austin.

The MAP Agency is a full-service media agency I started to cater to the needs of clients requiring American-style service (no offense to any other nationalities, but hey–I’m American and we’re crazy about customer service!). We provide excellent case-by-case, client-by-client solutions.

So what do we offer? The MAP Agency offers Journalists, Photographers, and Videographers in Madrid. We focus on the small stuff  – the best “insider” content executed economically.  For sample, sometimes I grab the  video camera and hit the streets of Madrid for my video journalism clients who want to know a bit about the market in Spain. You see, one of my other businesses is MAPMagazine.com, a Madrid events and tourism web site recommended in the MTV guidebook to Spain as the “premier e-zine for international residents.”  Through MAPMagazine.com,  we really have finger on the pulse of the Spanish capital. Our writers are constantly covering new restaurants, events, concerts, expositions, and much more on the ground  here in Madrid.

We are plugged into the city; we know what’s going on, and we are out there networking. Essentially, we know the ropes, and can therefore be your personal INSIDERS here… your “agents,” if you will.
